The Sweetener Challenge – Day Four (Splenda)

By far, my favourite so far (besides sugar).  Tastes a lot like sugar actually, especially in hot coffee.  Now that my coffee is cooling a bit, I think I can taste the fakeness.  Does that even make sense?

So, I was going to declare Splenda the hands down winner, but then I read the article that Pat linked to in the Day Three comments.  I may have to revert to plain old sugar before I grow a third eye.  Let’s just say that Splenda is the winner in the artificial chemical compound category and now I may have to try some natural alternatives.
